The Celtics are fresh off two days of rest after beating the Nets 126-120 Sunday. They covered the 5.5-point spread as favorites, their third straight win outright and third straight against the spread (ATS). The Celtics sit fifth in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the second-seeded Philadelphia 76ers. Boston is one of the hottest teams in the league, winning eight of their last 10 games.
The Hornets' last game was also against the Nets, a 132-121 loss Tueaday to Brooklyn. At one point, they were down 32 points to Brooklyn but battled back to nearly pull within double-digits in the fourth quarter. Charlotte had no answer for PG Kyrie Irving, who scored 50 points - 20 more than SG Terry Rozier and SF Miles Bridges each had.
