March Madness: Indiana vs. Wyoming odds, picks and predictions
The Indiana Hoosiers (20-13) and Wyoming Cowboys (25-8) tussle Tuesday for the No. 12 seed in the East Region of the NCAA Championship Tournament. Tip-off from UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio, is slated for 9:10 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Indiana vs. Wyomingodds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.
Indiana went just 2-7 from Feb. 5-March 5, but the Hoosiers acquitted themselves well enough in the Big Ten Tournament to earn a berth in Dayton. Indiana defeated Michigan 74-69 and current-No. 16-ranked Illinois 65-63 before falling in a close game 80-77 against No. 19 Iowa in the semifinals. IU led the Hawkeyes by 8 points with fewer than 5 minutes to play.
Wyoming built up enough credit with 11 Quad 1-2 victories to withstand a 4-5 mark down the stretch before bowing out to Boise State in the Mountain West tourney to make it into the NCAA field. The Cowboys excel at both ends of the free-throw frequency exchange, in and around the paint on offense, and in defending the arc at the other end. Wyoming is making its second NCAA appearance since 2002.
