The Oilers evened the series with a 5-4 overtime victory Sunday in Game 4. The Kings had fired out to a 3-0 lead after the 1st period and appeared to be on their way to taking a commanding 3-1 series lead. The Oilers had other ideas in the 2nd period, however, as D Evan Bouchard struck on the power play and C Leon Draisaitl struck at even strength before adding the tying goal with the man advantage in the waning seconds of the period.
Kings D Mathieu Roy beat G Jack Campbell early in the 3rd period to give L.A. another lead. Campbell had replaced G Stuart Skinner after the opening frame. Oilers LW Evander Kane struck late in regulation to force overtime.
LW Zach Hyman netted the game-winning goal at 10:39 of overtime with a helper from Bouchard to draw the series even. We'll now see how the Kings respond after the emotional loss.
