SportsbookWire's NFL Week 9 picks: ML, ATS and O/U predictions for all games

Before looking at SportsbookWire staff's Week 9 NFL picks, here's some interesting facts.

Three teams -- Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins -- are an NFL-best 6-2 against the spread (ATS) entering Week 9, according Teamrankings.com. All 3 are 6-2 straight up, too. The Dallas Cowboys (5-2) are 5-2 ATS.

The Carolina Panthers (1-6 SU, 1-5-1 ATS) not only won their 1st game, they covered the spread for the 1st time this season with a 15-13 victory as 3.5.point home underdogs vs. the Houston Texans (3-4) last Sunday.

The Chicago Bears (2-6), Denver Broncos (3-5), New Orleans Saints (4-4) and New York Giants (2-6) are each 2-5-1 ATS.

Looking at Over/Under totals, the Bears and Indianapolis Colts (3-5) own the best Over records at 6-2 each.

The Minnesota Vikings (4-4), Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) are the top Under teams with identical 1-7 O/U records -- Pittsburgh cashed its 7th Under in the Week 9 Thursday night game, a 20-16 home win over the Tennessee Titans (3-5). The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4) are 1-6 O/U.
