AVOID.

The Heat will likely break their losing streak on Friday night over the Wizards but there is no way I'm going to put up $340 to win $100. I would not even bet that if it was a sure thing which this game is not.

I'm going to look to the total in this game for my bet.

Against the spread

PASS.

My lean is to take the Wizards getting the points on the road because the Heat have failed to cover in their last 3 but I don't like it enough to make an actual bet on it.

Miami should be better than they have been this season and the Wizards are likely going to be one of the worst teams in the NBA. The Heat should blow them out at home but they are limping into this one having lost 4 straight.

Over/Under

BET OVER 226.5 (-110).

I love this over. I mentioned earlier that the Wizards are allowing the most points in the league to their opponents. They basically play no defense and have gone over the posted total in 3 of their first 4 games this season. The Heat have to be licking their chops heading into this matchup at home.
