The Raptors failed to cover the spread as 7.5-point underdogs in a 114-99 loss at the Philadelphia 76ers as the Under (214.5) hit Thursday. F Scottie Barnes led Toronto with 24 points.

The Spurs are coming off back-to-back upset wins at the Phoenix Suns. Their most recent was a 132-121 victory as 10.5-point underdogs Thursday as the Over (229.5) cashed. C Victor Wembanyama had a season-high 38 points, and San Antonio held off a late Suns rally after they erased a 27-point deficit.

The Raptors covered in both meetings last season, and the Over and Under each hit once.

I would say it's time to sell high on the Spurs, but it looks like even the market isn't fooled by San Antonio.

The Raptors are healthier, have a much deeper roster and are not coming off back-to-back lucky performances. This Raptors squad has much more experience than the young Spurs and will come in focused after losing to its former coach Nick Nurse for a 2nd time in a week.
