First look: Michigan State at Ohio State odds and lines
The Michigan State Spartans (3-6, 1-5 Big Ten) meet the Ohio State Buckeyes (9-0, 6-0) Saturday at Ohio Stadium in Columbus. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (NBC). Below, we look at Michigan State vs. Ohio State odds from BetMGM Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire's college football picks and predictions.
The Spartans finally got off the conference schneid with a 20-17 win against Nebraska on Saturday in East Lansing. That halted a 6-game losing skid since the Mel Tucker scandal broke. Michigan State is still just 2-4-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 7 games overall.
The Buckeyes, which was tabbed as the No. 1 team in the initial College Football Playoff rankings last week, got off to a sluggish start at Rutgers. However, a Pick-6 in the 2nd quarter changed the tide, and Ohio State ended up picking up a 35-16 win, pushing as a 19-point favorite at most shops. The Over (44) cashed, ending a 5-0 run to the Under.

Michigan State at Ohio State head-to-head
The Buckeyes lead the all-time series 36-15, including victories in 7 straight meetings. Michigan State's last win in the series was in 2015, a 17-14 victory at Ohio Stadium. Since 1998, the Spartans have won just 5 times in 21 games, but all of those wins have been very costly to the Buckeyes, and 3 of the losses have come in Columbus.
Ohio State has not only won 7 in a row in the series, but the Buckeyes have covered 6 straight meetings, including each of the past 4 as a favorite of 20 or more points.
