The Pelicans failed to cover the spread as 2-point home favorites in a 123-105 loss vs. the Atlanta Hawks as the Under (237) hit Saturday. New Orleans announced that G CJ McCollum has suffered a collapse in his right lung after imaging was done Sunday.

The Nuggets covered as 9-point home favorites with a 123-101 win vs. the Chicago Bulls on Saturday as the Over (217) cashed. C Nikola Jokić was just shy of a triple-double with 28 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists.

The Pelicans were 3-1 ATS vs. the Nuggets last season, and the Under went 3-1.

Nuggets 110, Pelicans 100

Moneyline

The Nuggets (-250) should still win at home without Murray, but there's no need to pay the higher price on the moneyline when Denver should win by margin.

PASS. Lay the points and/or bet the total instead.

Against the spread

Both teams will be without their starting PG in this one.

The Nuggets will likely give G Reggie Jackson heavy minutes in Murray's absence and have a deep enough roster to get similar offensive production without their starting PG.

The Pelicans, on the other hand, will be more affected by the loss of McCollum since they're also missing his backup in Alvarado. Look for New Orleans to struggle on offense once F Brandon Ingram goes to the bench.

BET NUGGETS -6.5 (-105).

Over/Under

The Under is 5-2 in Nuggets games this season and 4-2 when New Orleans plays. The shorthanded Pelicans should go through droughts on offense when Ingram is on the bench, helping this game stay under the total.

I LEAN UNDER 220.5 (-105), but my favorite play is to BET PELICANS: TOTAL POINTS UNDER 107.5 (-110).
