Best NFL underdog picks and predictions for Week 10

The Week 10 schedule in the NFL begins Thursday night and this week there will be 14 games, giving you 14 opportunities to bet the underdog. In Week 9, only 4 underdogs covered the spread and only 2 won outright.

Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook NFL odds and lines, and tab the best NFL Week 10 underdog bets to cash in on among SportbookWire's NFL expert picks and predictions.

With only 4 underdog covers and 2 outright winners, my 1-2 record for my picks is understandable. The only winner was the Washington Commanders beating the New England Patriots outright at +130 odds.

My record through 9 weeks is 16-11. Let's go make some money in Week 10.

Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access Paste BN Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Thursday at 11:27 a.m. ET. All games Sunday and ET unless noted.

TEXANS +7 (-115) at Bengals  – 1 p.m. (CBS)

Rookie QB C.J. Stroud is setting rookie records and is coming off a 5-TD performance in a 39-37 win over Tampa Bay, including the game-winning TD in the final seconds.

The Bengals have won and covered the spread in 4 straight games, but are likely going to be missing WR Ja'Marr Chase (back) for at least this week, and WR Tee Higgins has an ankle injury.

The Texans are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games and have not lost by more than a TD since Week 2.

Falcons at CARDINALS (+105) – 4:05 p.m. (CBS)

The Cardinals have lost 6 straight and are coming off a 27-0 loss to Cleveland as 13-point underdogs in which they had only 58 yards of offense.

However, they get QB Kyler Murray and RB James Conner back, which will be huge. They averaged 22 points per game with Conner in the lineup and in the 4 games he was out, they have averaged 10.6.

The Falcons have allowed 28 or more points in 2 straight games and lost their best interior defender as DL Grady Jarrett tore his ACL and is out for the season.

Atlanta has turned the ball over in 8 straight games and has multiple turnovers in 5 of their last 6.

Lions at CHARGERS +3 (-110) – 4:05 p.m. (CBS)

The Chargers have scored 27 and 30 points in their last 2 games and the 27 came against a very good New York Jets defense.

The Chargers defense has forced 7 turnovers in their last 3 games and have had multiple takeaways in 6 of 8 games this season.

In Detroit's 2 losses, they allowed 37 and 38 points.
