Iowa vs. Virginia Tech picks and predictions
Prediction
Iowa 79, Virginia Tech 72
Moneyline
Iowa (-198) will cost you nearly double your potential return, and that's quite a bit of risk in the Queen City. Virginia Tech (+164) should travel pretty well, as it's a quick jaunt from Blacksburg to Charlotte, making this feel like a road game for the Hawkeyes.
PASS.
Against the spread
Even with a potentially hostile crowd, IOWA -4.5 (-110) is the play. Clark was solid, and the Hawkeyes are just a deeper team. It wouldn't be surprising to see Virginia Tech +4.5 (-110) hang in there for most of the game before the Hawkeyes pull away in the 2nd half for a narrow cover.

Over/Under
Both of these teams know how to fill up the stat sheet, and the OVER 150 (-110) is worth playing. Both of these teams put up big offensive numbers in their openers against inferior opponents, but we should see a little more defense. As such, it's also a good idea to lean CLARK UNDER 31.5 POINTS (-110) against the 5th-ranked team in the nation.
