Season series: First meeting; Suns won 3 of 4 last season
Oklahoma City had a 3-game win streak snapped on Friday night, losing 105-98 at the Sacramento Kings. The Thunder also failed to cover the 1.5-point spread and went way Under the 232.5 total. G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers in the game with 33 points. He also snagged 7 boards and 6 helpers. No other player on the team had more than 14 points.
The Suns lost a heartbreaker at home to the Los Angeles Lakers 122-119 on Friday night. F Kevin Durant scored 38 points to led all players in the game and added 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Phoenix did not cover the 2-point spread, but the game did go Over the 225.5 total. G Bradley Beal chipped in 24 points in the loss.

Prediction
Suns 121, Thunder 116
Moneyline
AVOID.
The Thunder have looked good against the bad teams and struggled against the good ones. I consider the Suns a good team despite their early season struggles. Once everyone is healthy, this team is going to be a force in the Western Conference. I don't feel confident enough to eat the juice on this bet.
Against the spread
BET SUNS -3 (-112).
The Suns have just 1 win at home this season. I think they double that total on Sunday evening.
The Thunder need to get more consistency from their other players and can't rely on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to carry them. This Suns team having Bradley Beal back in the lineup will help them contain him and force the Thunder to use their other options like Chet Holmgren and Josh Giddey.
Kevin Durant put up 35 points in their last meeting at the end of last season. I have no doubt he'll do it again. He's averaging 28 points per game on the season.
Over/Under
BET OVER 231.5 (-110).
These teams have been Over the total in their last 4 meetings and 5 of their last 6. Phoenix has been Over the posted total in 6 of their last 7 games. Oklahoma City has been Over in 3 of their last 4.
The Thunder are top 10 in the league in points scored per game and the Suns are top 15.
