Utah at Arizona odds, picks and predictions
The Utah Utes (7-3, 4-3 Pac-12) and Arizona Wildcats (7-3, 5-2) meet Saturday at Arizona Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Utah vs. Arizona odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.
The Utes suffered a 35-28 setback at Washington last week, but they were able to pick up the cover as 9.5-point underdogs. Utah has dropped 2 of the past 3 games, but it has managed an impressive 4-1 against the spread (ATS) mark in the previous 5 outings. The Over has also cashed at a 4-1 clip during the span.
The Wildcats picked up a 34-31 win at Colorado last weekend, but Arizona failed to cash as an 8-point favorite and snapped a 5-0 ATS run. The Over was also a rarity, snapping a 3-0 Under run. The total has gone low in 8 of 10 games overall for Arizona this season, too.
Utah is No. 16 and Arizona is No. 22 in the US LBM Coaches Poll powered by Paste BN Sports.

Utah at Arizona picks and predictions
Prediction
Utah 25, Arizona 19
Moneyline
UTAH (-105) is a solid play as short 'dogs on the road in this Pac-12 ranked battle.
The Utes have won 6 straight meetings in this series, while going 5-1 against the spread (ATS) during the span. Utah picked up a 45-20 win at home last season against Arizona, covering as an 18.5-point favorite. The last time Utah was a single-digit favorite, it won 30-24 as a 4.5-point favorite in Arizona on Sept. 22, 2017.
Arizona hasn't won outright since a 37-30 win in OT on Nov. 14, 2015, in Tucson, and the last time it won in regulation against the Utes was back on Nov. 22, 2014, a 42-10 rout.
Against the spread
Playing Utah +1 (-110) makes no sense, as if you like it, just go with the Utes straight up instead. There is no way this game can end up as a tie.
AVOID.
Over/Under
UNDER 45.5 (-105) is the way to go in this Pac-12 battle in the desert.
The Under has cashed in 4 of the past 5 meetings in this series. While this is easily the lowest number in this series in over a decade, both of these teams have tremendous defensive units.
Utah allowed just 299.8 total yards per game, while yielding only 85.6 rushing yards per contest, and just 17.8 PPG. Arizona concedes just 334.7 total yards per game, and just 99.4 rushing yards per game on the ground, with a slightly higher 20.9 PPG.
This won't be a 10-7 kind of game, but we also shouldn't see high 40's or more, either.
