New York Giants at Washington Commanders odds, picks and predictions
The New York Giants (2-8) face the Washington Commanders (4-6) Sunday in Week 11 NFL action. Kickoff at FedEx Field is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Giants vs. Commanders odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.
The Giants were thumped 49-17 by their NFC East rival Cowboys in Dallas. They could only produce 172 total yards in Week 10 with QB Tommy DeVito at the helm while Dallas QB Dak Prescott threw for over 400 yards against the Jets defense. The Giants did not cover the 17.5-point spread while Dallas made sure the Over 38.5 cashed.
Seahawks K Jason Myers made a 43-yard field as time expired to beat the Commanders 29-26 in Week 11. QB Sam Howell threw for over 300 yards for the 3rd straight game in the loss. He connected with RB Brian Robinson 6 times for 119 yards and 1 TD. Washington's defense allowed Seattle to pass for 369 yards.
In their first meeting on Oct. 22, the Giants won 14-7 in New York and covered the 3-point spread as the Under 36 hit.

Giants at Commanders picks and predictions
Prediction
Commanders 27, Giants 20
Moneyline
AVOID.
The Commanders win at home on Sunday, but you should not bet -450 on them. Put your money down on the spread in this game.
Against the spread
BET GIANTS +9 (-110).
As much as I want to believe the Commanders will come out and blow out the Giants the way the Cowboys did last week, it just won't happen. Washington just doesn't know how to dominate anyone for 4 quarters. I like the Giants to keep this game tight.
New York is 7-2-1 against Washington straight up and they have covered the spread in 8 of their last 10 matchups. Despite the Giants being on their 3rd-string QB, the Commanders defense has not been able to stop anyone especially since they traded away DEs Montez Sweat and Chase Young.
Over/Under
PASS.
My lean would be to the Under because it has hit in 3 of their last 4 meetings and New York has been Under in 7 of their last 8 games. I'm wary though because Washington's defense allows the 2nd-most points per game in the league.
I could see this game being a scoring struggle for both teams or I could see it as a back and forth affair, which is why I'm going to just stay away.
