First look: Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos odds and lines

The Cleveland Browns (7-3) and Denver Broncos (5-5) meet in Week 12  Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Browns vs. Broncos odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire's NFL picks and predictions.

The Browns suffered a big blow last week when it learned QB Deshaun Watson suffered a broken bone in his throwing shoulder in the Week 10 win in Baltimore, and he was lost for the season. Rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson was named the starter, and he managed the Week 11 game well against the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning 13-10 on a last-second field goal.

The Browns defense was relentless in Sunday's win over the Steelers, allowing just 249 total yards, 12 first downs and 4.4 yards per play. And that number was skewed a lot by a 74-yard touchdown run by RB Jaylen Warren in the third quarter. DTR also had just one miscue, and interception, while Cleveland evened the minus-1 turnover margin out with 3 sacks.

The Broncos gutted out a 21-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. After a 1-5 straight up (SU) start, which included 70 points allowed in a Week 3 loss at Miami, Denver has racked up 4 straight wins with a 3-1 against the spread (ATS) mark to get back into the playoff hunt.

The Under has cashed in 5 straight games for the Broncos, while going 3-0 in the past 3 at home, and 4-2 in 6 games at Mile High this season.

The Under hit in Sunday's game for Cleveland, and it is 2-1 in the past 3 games overall. On the road, though, the Browns have cashed the Over in all 4 games to date.

Browns at Broncos head-to-head

The Browns and Broncos had some epic battles in the playoffs in the 1980s, and most Cleveland fans would rather forget those results. Lately, though, the Browns have had some success against the Broncos, winning 2 of the past 3 meetings.

The most recent meeting was on Oct. 21, 2021, a Thursday night game at Cleveland Browns Stadium, and the Browns won 17-14 as a 1.5-point favorite as the Under (39.5) cashed. The Broncos won the most recent meeting at Mile High, a 24-19 win as 4-point underdogs in 2019, while the Browns edged the Broncos 17-16 in Denver in 2018.

Cleveland is 3-1 ATS in the past 4 meetings, with the Under cashing in 2 of the past 3 meetings since 2018.
