First look: Washington State at Washington odds and lines
The Washington State Cougars (5-6, 2-6 Pac-12) meet the Washington Huskies (11-0, 8-0) Saturday at Husky Stadium in Seattle. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Washington State vs. Wawshington odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire's college football picks and predictions.
The Cougars won the elimination bowl Friday against the Colorado Buffaloes, keeping hopes alive for bowl eligibility, while eliminating the overhyped Buffs from the postseason. Washington State had lost the past 6 games, and the cover in the 56-14 win was just the 2nd in the past 7 games overall. The Over has cashed in 4 of the past 5 games overall.
The Huskies remain unbeaten, and are looking to get into the College Football Playoffs. It was ranked on the outside looking in, but we still have unbeatens ahead of the Huskies who must play each other, a fellow contender which lost their starting quarterback, etc. So Washington has a very good chance to make the field, but it can't overlook rival Washington State.
Washington has won all 11 games to date, but it narrowly avoided disaster in a 22-20 win at Oregon State on Saturday. It's 2-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 3 games, but just 2-5 ATS in the past 7 outings overall. The Over is 3-1 in the past 4 games overall, too.

Washington State at Washington head-to-head
The Huskies lead this series, better known as the Apple Cup, by a 75-33-6 margin. Washington won in Pullman last season 55-31, repaying the Cougars for a win in Seattle the season prior. Washington State won its most recent visit to Husky Stadium in 2021 by a 40-13 score as 2.5-point favorites.
Washington has dominated against the number lately, not only winning 8 of the past 9 meetings, but covering at a 7-1 ATS clip in the previous 8 in the series. The Over has cashed in 3 of the past 4 meetings in Seattle.
Fortunately for football fans, especially those in the Evergreen State, these schools have just agreed in principle to a 5-year continuation of the rivalry series despite Washington bolting for the Big Ten next season. The game on Sept. 14, 2024, will take place at Lumen Field in Seattle, technically a neutral site.
