Best NFL underdog picks and predictions for Week 12

Week 12 in the NFL has four days of football. We have games on Thanksgiving and on Black Friday before the regular slate of games on Sunday and Monday. Nobody is on their bye so there are 16 games to bet on.

In Week 11, the underdog did well against the spread. Nine covered, however, only 3 won their games outright.

Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook NFL odds and lines, and tab the best NFL Week 12 underdog bets to cash in on among SportbookWire's NFL expert picks and predictions.

Of my 3 picks last week, the Las Vegas Raiders covered the 13.5-point spread against the Miami Dolphins. The Arizona Cardinals covered the 5.5-point spread against the Houston Texans, but the Cincinnati Bengals lost by 14 to the Baltimore Ravens as 4-point underdogs.

My weekly picks are now 20-12-1 through 11 weeks.

COMMANDERS +12.5 (-110) at Cowboys — Thursday, 4:30 p.m. (CBS)

The Washington Commanders have gone 0-4 in divisional games and face the Dallas Cowboys for the 1st time this season. They kept their 2 games against the Philadelphia Eagles within a TD and are 2-1-1 ATS in their last 4 games.

The Cowboys have covered all 3 games this season in which they were favored by double digits. However, they have not won a Thanksgiving game by 11 or more points since 2011.

BUCCANEERS (+115) at Colts – 1 p.m.  (CBS)

In the Indianapolis Colts' last 7 games, their only wins are against the 1-win Carolina Panthers, the 2-win New England Patriots and the 3-win Tennessee Titans.

The Bucs have lost 5 of their last 6 games but have covered the spread in their last 4. They beat the Titans 2 weeks ago.

While the Colts allowed 19 combined points over their last 2 games, they allowed 37, 38 and 39 points the 3 previous games.

The Bucs' last 3 losses have come to teams who would all be in the playoffs if the season ended today.

Chiefs at RAIDERS +9 (-115) – 4:25 p.m. (CBS)

Since Antonio Pierce took over as interim head coach, the Raiders have remained competitive. They have covered the spread in all 3 games with 2 outright wins. They were 14-point underdogs to the Miami Dolphins last week and lost by 7.

The Raiders have allowed an average of 12.7 points per game since Pierce took over.

The Kansas City Chiefs have lost 2 of their last 3 games and haven't scored more than 21 points in the last 3 weeks.
