Sacramento Kings at New Orleans Pelicans odds, picks and predictions
The Sacramento Kings (8-5) and New Orleans Pelicans (7-7) square off on Wednesday with tip from Smoothie King Center set for 8 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Pelicans odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.
Season series: Pelicans lead 1-0
Sacramento had their 6-game winning streak snapped 129-93 Monday in New Orleans against the Pelicans. They failed to cover the 2-point spread despite 5 players scoring in double-figures with F Harrison Barnes leading with 16 points.
New Orleans won the first half of their back-to-back games against Sacramento in dominate fashion. The combination of F Brandon Ingram (31 points) and F Zion Williamson (26) proved to be too much for the Kings. C Jonas Valanciunas chipped in 13 boards in the victory.
These 2 teams have split their last 10 meetings straight up and against the spread (ATS). The Under has hit in 7 of those 10 meetings.

Kings at Pelicans picks and predictions
Prediction
Pelicans 115, Kings 111
Moneyline
BET PELICANS (+108).
I like them to swing these series at home against the Kings. Sacramento seems to be no match for the Pelicans inside outside game of Ingram and Williamson. If those 2 are healthy and playing together, they are one of the more formidable teams in the whole NBA.
I like getting the plus odds at home, especially when they just beat them by 36 points 2 nights ago.
BET PELICANS +2 (-108).
Obviously, if I like the Pelicans to win the game on the moneyline, I'm going to like them getting points. I'd be interested in betting on both. New Orleans is figuring it out after losing 4 in a row earlier this month, they've won 3 of their last 4 games.
Over/Under
PASS.
I don't get a real feel for the total in this game. If I had a lean, it'd be to the Under which is what you can see from my prediction. Their last 3 matchups have gone Under. Both teams are in the middle of the pack when it comes to pace of play, they don't run much.
