San Antonio Spurs at Golden State Warriors odds, picks and predictions

The San Antonio Spurs (3-12) and Golden State Warriors (7-9) square off Friday in the In-Season Tournament with tip-off from Chase Center set for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Spurs vs. Warriors odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: First meeting; Warriors won 4-0 last year

The Spurs have lost 10 in a row with the latest a 109-102 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday. The Spurs covered as 8.5-point dogs in that one as F Victor Wembanyama had 22 points, 15 boards and 3 blocks.

The Dubs have lost 7 of 8 after falling 123-115 to the Phoenix Suns Wednesday. It really wasn't that close as the Suns led 83-60 midway through the 3rd quarter. The Warriors pulled their starters, and the backups pushed the game closer. G Stephen Curry had just 16 points on 6-for-15 shooting over 27 minutes.

Spurs at Warriors picks and predictions

Prediction

Warriors 121, Spurs 117

Moneyline

This is the epitome of a trap game with the Warriors massive favorites coming off of a Thanksgiving holiday against one of the best coaches in history in Gregg Popovich. The Spurs could absolutely stun them, but I will PASS and look to the spread.

Against the spread

The Spurs are 5-10 ATS and 2-4 on the road thus far. The Warriors are 6-10 ATS and just 1-7 at home. So they're not nearly as lethal and could be lacking some motivation this early in the season. I'm fading them with this spread until I see otherwise.

Take the SPURS +10.5 (-110).

Over/Under

Both teams are 7-3 O/U in their last 10 games. The Warriors have cashed Overs in their last 4 games, and the Spurs split their last 4. This total seems a little light as it's just a half-point higher than the Warriors/Suns matchup that hit 234 Wednesday.

Take the OVER 234.5 (-110).
