Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders odds, picks and predictions

The Kansas City Chiefs (7-3) and Las Vegas Raiders (5-6) battle Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Chiefs vs. Raiders odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Chiefs were upended by the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11 by a 21-17 final. KC failed to cover the -6.5 spread it was favored in. The Chiefs took a 17-7 lead at halftime and didn't score another point. That's the 3rd straight week they have not scored a point in the 2nd half. The Under 45.5 cashed in the affair.

Vegas fell 20-13 to the mighty Miami Dolphins, but it was able to cover a generous 13.5-point spread. The Under 43.5 made its way to the bank. QB Aidan O'Connell was forced to take some shots and threw for 271 yards, but he had just 1 touchdown and 3 INTs. The Raiders are 5-6 on the season, but they are a sneaky 4-1 at home.

Chiefs at Raiders picks and predictions

Prediction

Chiefs 31, Raiders 17

Moneyline

The Chiefs covered as 9-point favorites in a 31-13 victory over the Raiders last season in January. While it's a more tamed beast of a KC offense, the likely absence of Crosby will hurt all levels of the Raiders defense.

In any event, there's no chance we're risking $500 to win $100.

PASS.

Against the spread

This 10-point spread is a dangerous one, and the public is already hammering Vegas. It's not a terrible idea because it is 6-4-1 ATS and 4-1 ATS at home. I just think the Chiefs defense is going to chew up O'Connell, and the Chiefs cruise.

LEAN CHIEFS -10 (-105).

Over/Under

Neither of these teams are Over teams as KC is 2-8 O/U, and Vegas is 2-9. This total is a bit small, though, and the last 7 meetings between these teams have hit it.

KC may have underestimated the Denver Broncos a month ago and lost 24-9. It'll learn from that against this divisional foe.

Take the OVER  43.5 (-110).
