Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals odds, picks and predictions
The Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) face the Cincinnati Bengals (5-5) Sunday in Week 12 NFL action. Kickoff at Paycor Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Steelers vs. Bengals odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.
The Steelers racked up 172 yards on the ground in Week 11 against division-foe Cleveland but lost the game 13-10. Pittsburgh failed to cover the 2.5-point spread and went way Under the 34-point total. For the 4th straight game, RB Jaylen Warren outgained his backfield mate RB Najee Harris. The Steelers average only 16.6 points per game, which is 5th worst in the league.
Cincinnati returns to the field in Week 12 for the first time since losing their franchise QB Joe Burrow for the season with a wrist injury. They had the bye week to get new starting QB Jake Browning prepared for this game. The rookie has completed just 8 passes in his career for 68 yards and 1 touchdown. The Bengals have lost their last 2 games.
This will be their first head-to-head meeting of the season. Their last game was Nov. 20, 2022, with the Bengals coming out on top 37-30, covering the 3.5-point spread, and it went Over the 39.5-point total.

Steelers at Bengals picks and predictions
Prediction
Steelers 17, Bengals 10
Moneyline
AVOID.
This game is really tough to call because the Steelers offense has been pretty dreadful with Kenny Pickett under center, which is why their offensive coordinator Matt Canada was fired this week. The Bengals have a new quarterback running the show, which is a complete wild card at this point. I'm going to avoid putting money down on this moneyline and look to the total for my bet.
My lean would be the Steelers because they still have all the same pieces in place with just a new guy calling the plays.
Against the spread
AVOID.
For all the same reasons I don't like the moneyline, I don't like this spread either. I really like the total, which is why I'm going to save my money for that bet.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 35.5 (-110).
This is a really low total for a NFL game, but I still believe this game goes Under.
I don't believe, even with a new play caller, that the Steelers offense will be that much better. Then you have an inexperienced quarterback facing one of the toughest defensive fronts led by T.J. Watt.
