Purdue, which is No. 1 in the Paste BN Sports Coaches Poll, won the Maui Invitational with a thrilling 78-75 victory over the 3rd-ranked Marquette Golden Eagles. They pushed on the 3-point spread but went Over the 140.5 total. Senior C Zach Edey led the way with 28 points and 15 rebounds in the victory, his 5th double-double of the season.

I would typically not recommend betting a spread this big, but these teams are on completely different levels of play. It’s not even fair to the Tigers to be on the same court with this Purdue team.
Purdue has already beaten Samford, a solid mid-major by 53 and Morehead State by 30. They are 4-1-1 against the spread on the season.
Obviously, Texas Southern is winless but they have been getting thumped by good teams. The Tigers have lost by 37, 29, and 32 already this season.

My lean is to the Under in this game, but I'm not confident enough to make the bet.
I know that the Boilermakers will score but they aren't a team that's going to run up and down the court. They rank 136th in the country in pace of play while Texas Southern sits even lower at 286th. The Tigers are 359th in the country in points per game.
I would have recommended to bet the Under if they had set the line a little higher like around 140.
