ACC Championship: Louisville vs. Florida State odds, picks and predictions
The No. 14 Louisville Cardinals (10-2) and No. 4 Florida State Seminoles (12-0) clash in Saturday’s ACC Championship Game in Charlotte. Kickoff at Bank of America Stadium is slated for 8 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Louisville vs. Florida State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.
The Cardinals had their confidence dented a bit with a 38-31 loss to in-state rival Kentucky to end their regular season. They did not cover the 7.5-point spread while the Over 50.5 cashed. The loss does not take away from the fantastic season for Louisville under 1st-year coach and native son Jeff Brohm. If they win the ACC title, they'll likely head to Florida to play in the Orange Bowl.
Sadly, Louisville transfer and all-around stud QB Jordan Travis will not be able to play after suffering a leg injury 2 weeks ago. Backup QB Tate Rodemaker guided the Seminoles to a 24-15 win over in-state rival Florida as RB Trey Benson rushed for 95 yards and 3 TDs. Florida State would likely play in the College Football Playoff if they win the ACC title.
Florida State and Louisville did not meet in the regular season. The Seminoles won 35-31 at Louisville last year and lead the all-time series 17-6.

Louisville vs. Florida State picks and predictions
Prediction
Louisville 21, Florida State 17
Moneyline
Florida State got a nice win against Florida with Rodemaker, but the Gators finished the season 5-7. The junior will have a much tougher test against Louisville, which has victories over Notre Dame, Duke and Miami. The Cardinals also allows just 20 points per game, 25th-best in the country, and shut out Duke. They will give the Seminoles all they can handle.
BET LOUISVILLE (+105).
Against the spread
The moneyline offers the better deal at plus-money. PASS.
Over/Under
We've got 2 very good defenses battling it out as both teams rank inside the top 25 in points allowed per game (FSU is 11th at 16.8). But the Seminoles offense will not be the same without their best player on the field.
Florida State has also Under the total in their last 3 games against Power 5 schools. Louisville has been Over in their last 3, but in their 2 games against teams with top-15 defenses, they went Under.
AVOID.
