The Wizards played at the Orlando Magic in back-to-back games and lost them both. Washington's defense didn't seem ready losing 139-120 on Wednesday and then 130-125 on Friday. Washington F Kyle Kuzma led the team with 27 points while 6 other Wizards scored in double-digits.

Philadelphia is also coming off 125-119 loss to the Boston Celtics, although the 76ers didn't have C Joel Embid. Despite the thin roster it was a 1-score game with less than 2 minutes left, but Boston won at the free-throw line, hitting 31 of 36 while Philly was 17 of 23.

It is safe to say that the 76ers would need to be quite injured before thinking that the Wizards, who are 1-6 at home, would pull off the upset. But at the current moneyline odds its best to PASS and bet the spread.

Against the spread

So far this season Washington has been awful at home. Their lone win was against the Memphis Grizzlies in October and they haven't won in Washington since.

As a home underdog they have failed to cover this season (0-5) while Philadelphia is 4-1 as a road favorite.

Over/Under

Washington's defense is their biggest reason why they are one of the worst teams in the league. They allow the most field goals per game (47.1) on the 2nd-most attempts (93.5).
