The Pistons failed to cover as 1.5-point home underdogs, and the Under (220.5) hit, in their 116-102 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. Detroit is on a league-worst 18-game skid as it hasn't won a game since Oct. 28.

The Magic were defeated 121-111 by the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, falling short of covering as 4.5-point road underdogs, and the Over (225.5) cleared. Orlando is on a 2-game losing streak, but it was on a 9-game winning streak before losing to the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 2.

Against the spread

MAGIC -11.5 (-105) is the play in this contest despite it being a massive spread. The Pistons have the worst record in the NBA, and they'll be without Duren at the center position on Friday.

Orlando is 15-6 ATS overall and 8-2 ATS at home this season. On the other hand, Detroit is 9-12 ATS overall and 5-5 ATS on the road.

Over/Under
