Gonzaga at Washington odds, picks and predictions
The Gonzaga Bulldogs (7-1) and Washington Huskies (5-3) meet Saturday at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle. Tip-off is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET (ESPN2). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook's lines around the Gonzaga vs. Washington odds, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and best bets.
The Bulldogs take Interstate 90 west to Seattle (OK, they probably still flew) to take on the Huskies. Gonzaga is coming off a 111-71 waxing of Arkansas-Pine Bluff last time out, covering a 33.5-point number as the Over (168.5) easily connected.
Gonzaga is 2-for-2 against the Pac-12 this season, topping UCLA 69-65 on a neutral floor in the Maui Invitational on Nov. 22, just missing the cover as 4.5-point favorites as the Under (137.5) hit. Gonzaga also topped USC 89-76 in Las Vegas, covering a 3.5-point number as the Over (152.5) cashed.
Washington rebounded from an 86-81 loss to Colorado State in Las Vegas, pounding Montana State 85-61 at home last time out on Tuesday. It was the first cover for the Huskies in the past 3 games at home, although Washington is 3-1 ATS in the past 4 games overall. The Under is 2-1 in the past 3 outings.
Gonzaga is No. 8 in the Paste BN Sports Coaches Poll.

Gonzaga at Washington picks and predictions
Prediction
Gonzaga 86, Washington 79
Moneyline
Gonzaga (-184) is just a little over my personal moneyline play for a singular bet, although I wouldn't have a problem tossing the Bulldogs into a multi-team parlay, if you so choose.
However, for a standalone bet, AVOID, and look to the spread instead.
Against the spread
GONZAGA -4.5 (-106) is a decent play laying the points.
Gonzaga enters with covers in back-to-back games for the first time this season, and the Zags have beaten both Pac-12 teams they have faced by an average of 8.5 points per game (PPG). There is some risk, as this is the first true road game for Gonzaga, although it has played in 4 neutral-site games so far, splitting 2-2 ATS.
Washington +4.5 (-114) failed to cover last time it was an underdog against Colorado State. It has won the games it is support to win, but the Huskies have lost both games outright as an underdog, while losing and failing to cover its only game against a ranked opponent.

Over/Under
OVER 163.5 (-110) is a decent play. The Over cashed in Washington's only prior game against a ranked opponent, while going 5-2 in 7 games overall.
Gonzaga has cashed in 3 straight games overall, too. The Zags rank 13th in points per game (87.3 PPG), 11th in field-goal percentage (51.0%) and 92nd in 3-point field-goal percentage (35.5%). The Bulldogs hit just 68.6% from the free-throw line, and that's the biggest concern, as they tend to leave a lot of points on the floor.
