The Atlanta Falcons (6-7) and Carolina Panthers (1-12) meet Sunday for a Week 15 matchup at Bank of America Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook's lines around the Falcons vs. Panthers odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The weather forecast for Charlotte on Sunday is absolutely horrendous. If you watched Saturday's Cure Bowl from Orlando, you got a sneak peak for Sunday's game at BoA. There is a 100 percent chance of rain, heavy at times, with gusty winds. The field should be soaked, with footing a big issue. And the passing and kicking games will be affected greatly, and perhaps mostly non-existent.

The Falcons were cooled off a bit at home against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend, falling 29-25 in the final minute. That snapped a 2-game win streak, and it handed Atlanta its 1st loss and non-cover in 4 tries inside the division.

The Falcons topped the Panthers 24-10 in Atlanta back in the regular-season opener on Sept. 10, as cashing as a 3.5-point favorite as the Under (40.5) connected.

The Panthers bottomed out with a season-low 6 points in a loss in New Orleans last week. The Carolina offense has managed 18 or fewer points in 7 consecutive games, and it's no surprise the Under is a healthy 6-1 during that span.

Falcons 18, Panthers 12

Moneyline

The FALCONS (-162) aren't a bad play straight up, if you would prefer to just declare a winner and not bother with the points. It is going to likely be a very slow go, with the team establishing the run, and experiencing the best footing, getting the win. I think Atlanta's Bijan Robinson could have a giant game, and I like the team's depth with Tyler Allgeier, although there is some concern with 3 O-line starters carrying a questionable tag.

Against the spread

The FALCONS -3 (-105) is worth a look laying the points, as Atlanta has already won and covered against the Panthers +3 (-115) this season. Of course, that game was played in the controlled environmental conditions of the Mercedes-Benz Dome in Atlanta, and not a deluge in a chilly rain in December.

Over/Under

UNDER 33.5 (-118) would be a good play, even during optimal weather conditions. The Carolina offense just cannot move the ball. But conditions should be downright atrocious in the Queen City, with heavy rain at times, gusting winds and just miserable field conditions. It wouldn't be shocking to see one or both teams held to single digits.
