The New Orleans Saints (7-7) and Los Angeles Rams (7-7) will kick Week 16 off with a bang on Thursday night when they square off in a pivotal matchup at SoFi Stadium, one that will significantly impact both teams' playoff chances. The Saints have won back-to-back games by wide margins to get their record back to 7-7 after losing 3 straight to fall to 5-7. They beat the Carolina Panthers 2 weeks ago by a score of 28-6, and on Sunday New Orleans cruised to a 24-6 win over the New York Giants. New Orleans is currently the 8th seed in the NFC, with a chance to move up to No. 6 or 7 with a win over the Rams and loss by the Minnesota Vikings.

The Rams have won 4 of their last 5 games, with their only loss in that span coming against the Baltimore Ravens in overtime. On Sunday, they beat the Washington Commanders 28-20, a game that should have been a much wider margin of victory for Los Angeles. At 7-7, they currently hold the 7th seed in the NFC.
