Jacksonville Jaguars at Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds, picks and predictions

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7) welcome the Jacksonville Jaguars to Raymond James Stadium Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook's lines around the Jaguars vs. Buccaneers odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Buccaneers beat the Green Bay Packers 34-20 last Sunday, covering the spread as 3.5-point road underdogs. Tampa Bay is 9-5 against the spread (ATS) this season and 2-4 ATS at home. The Bucs, who are 3-3 straight up at home, are led by QB Baker Mayfield, who has thrown for 3,315 and 24 TDs.

The Jaguars lost at home 23-7 as 4-point underdogs to the Baltimore Ravens in the Week 15 Sunday Night Football game. Jacksonville could be without QB Trevor Lawrence, who was limited in practice this week as he is battling through a concussion. The Jags are 8-6 ATS on the season and 6-1 ATS in either road or neutral-field games.

Jaguars at Buccaneers picks and predictions

Prediction

Buccaneers 27, Jaguars 24

Moneyline

BET BUCCANEERS (+104).

The Bucs are, simply put, playing better football. They beat the Packers by 14, Falcons by 4 and Panthers by 3, respectively, in their current 3-game win streak, with Green Bay and Atlanta being on the road.

The Jaguars still appear to be finding their identity, and a hobbled QB won't help. Jacksonville is expected to have Lawrence, but it has still lost 3 straight games and 4 of its last 6. It is also 0-3 ATS over its last 3. The Jags have performed well on the road but have struggled too much to back as of late.

TAKE BUCCANEERS (+104).

Against the spread

PASS.

The Bucs +1.5 (-110) are the suggestion here, but the plus-money value for them to win outright on a ML wager is the better play.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 43 (-110).

As mentioned, the Bucs have been on fire as of late. They are just 6-8 O/U on the season but are figuring things out offensively and have gone Over in 4 straight games. Tampa Bay has scored at least 20 in 3 straight games and allowed 20 or more in 4 of its last 5.

The Jags are 7-7 O/U but are 2-1 O/U in their last 3 games and have scored at least 24 in 4 of their last 5. With Lawrence on the field, they should have a competent offensive attack as well.

BACK OVER 43 (-110).
