Both the Pacers and Magic have been struggling lately and look to reset things before Christmas.

The Pacers are just 2-5 since the In-Season Tournament championship with their latest loss coming at the Memphis Grizzlies 116-103 Thursday. Indiana, which was a 2-point underdog, allowed Memphis to shoot 45.7% from 3, and score 48 points in the paint, a tough formula to beat.

The Magic enter on a 4-game skid, recently losing 118-114 at the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday but covering as 8.5-point dogs. The Magic held the Bucks to 29.7% on 3-pointers (11 of 37), however the Magic were unable to take advantage. Plus, Orlando only made 8 of 33 (24.2%) behind the 3-point line.

Moneyline

The Magic are 4-6 in their last 10, including the already mentioned 4-game slide. They struggle on the road where they are 5-8, compared to an 11-3 home record. As road underdogs, their straight-up record is 3-8.

BET PACERS (-118).

Against the spread

With a spread this close there is little harm in getting some extra value by taking the PACERS -1. If Indiana wins the worst case scenario here is a push.

LEAN PACERS -1 (-112). Just don't bet more than 1½ units between this and the -118 ML.

If you're feeling lucky, sprinkle a little on PACERS by 1-5 POINTS (+420) in the "winning bands" section.

Over/Under

LEAN UNDER 243.5 (-110).

The Pacers are the best Over team this season at 20-7-1, thanks to a quick offense and shoddy defense. However, the Magic are equipped to keep the score low. Orlando makes just 10.1 3-pointers per game (29th in the NBA), and it allows just 12.0 3's per game (8th best).
