Georgia vs. Florida State picks and predictions
Prediction
Georgia 37, Florida State 20
Moneyline
Georgia was considered the best team in college football for much of the season. Florida State might not have lost a game this season but they have 22 players who will not suit up for the bowl game, either because they have entered the transfer portal or are getting ready for the NFL Draft.
This is why the odds are what they are.
Should Georgia win? Yes, but should you bet the moneyline at -1200 odds? Never.
PASS.
Against the spread
The Bulldogs will mostly have the same team on the field that played in the SEC title game, but they will miss TE Brock Bowers, who will not play and did not travel with the team because of an ankle injury.
However, even with a full-strength Georgia going against a skeleton Seminoles squad, winning by more than 20 will be tough.
If they jump out to a big enough lead, they will slow things down, play younger players and there will be garbage-time points.
They had 7 wins by more than 20, but 2 were non-conference opponents to start the season. And this is still an undefeated Florida State team that believes it should have been in the playoff.
BET FLORIDA STATE +20.5 (-115).
Over/Under
Every single one of Georgia's games this season had totals of more than 43 points while 10 of the Seminoles' 13 games had more than 43 points.
BET OVER 43.5 (-110).
