San Francisco will be out for blood on Sunday in Landover, Md., after taking a 33-19 beating at home on Monday night at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. They lost outright as 6.5-point favorites as the Over 46.5 hit. QB Brock Purdy took a major hit to his MVP case by throwing 4 interceptions in the loss. The one bright spot was RB Christian McCaffrey, who ran for 103 yards and a TD in the the loss that the 49ers' 6-game winning streak.

The Commanders are in the midst of a 6-game losing streak. They are benching 2nd-year QB Sam Howell after an awful performance against the New York Jets in Week 16, where he threw for just 56 yards and 2 INTs. New York won 30-28, but Washington covered the 3-point spread and went Over the 36 total. Veteran QB Jacoby Brissett will start against the 49ers in Week 17.

The 49ers won their matchup with the Commanders, 37-20 in 2022, covering the 6.5-point spread as the Over 37 hit.

They are coming off of an embarrassing loss on national television, Kyle Shanahan hates the Washington franchise after the way they treated him and his father, and San Francisco is trying to hold on to the NFC No. 1 seed.

The 49ers have covered the spread in 3 of their last 5 while the Commanders have failed to cover in 4 of their last 5.

BET OVER 49.5 (-110).

The 49ers score just under 30 points per game, Washington allows the most points per game in the NFL at 30.2. The Commanders defense is trash, allowing the 2nd-most passing yards per game. This is a recipe for an Over if I've ever seen one.
