He has been ruled out for Week 17 and CJ Beathard will start at QB. Jacksonville remains tied for 1st place in the AFC South with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.

I can't trust either of these teams. Can they both lose? I highly recommend you stay away from betting the moneyline or spread and look to the total.

Against the spread

AVOID.

The Jaguars can't get out of their own way and the Panthers are such a wreck of a roster, it's hard to even believe either team can win this game.

Carolina has covered in 3 of their last 4 games and the Jaguars have failed to cover in their last 4, which is why my lean would be to take the points but I'm going to avoid it personally.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 36.5 (-110).

I do like this Under. The Panthers have gone Over in just 5 of their 15 games this season and only 2 of their last 9. The Jaguars have been Under in their last 2 games.

I just don't know what to make of Jacksonville's offense. Lawrence is out and who knows what they are going to get out of Beathard against a Carolina defense that can get after the quarterback.
