Oregon at Washington odds, picks and predictions

The Oregon Ducks (10-3, 2-0 Pac-12) take on the Washington Huskies (8-5, 0-2) to Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. Tip is set for 9 p.m. ET (Pac-12 Network). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Oregon vs. Washington odds, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and best bets.

The Ducks failed to cover as 7-point favorites in a 64-59 victory over UCLA Friday as the Under 136.5 hit. They have won 3 straight and cashed Overs and covered in the previous 2 tilts. Their last loss came Dec. 17 at Syracuse in a 83-63 showing in which they were 4.5-point favorites.

The Huskies have dropped 2 in a row with their 95-90 setback at Utah. They managed to cover as 10-point underdogs as the Over 156 sailed by. Washington is led by senior F Keion Brooks Jr., who is averaging 20.5 points per game and 7.6 boards. The Huskies won a thriller, 72-71, in overtime at home against the Ducks last February.

Oregon at Washington picks and predictions

Prediction

Washington 74, Oregon 70

Moneyline

The Huskies opened at -137 in some places and have been steamed out of range up to -200. I actually think Oregon could keep this close and possibly take the upset.

PASS.

Against the spread

Oregon is 8-5 ATS on the season. It has dropped its last 2 on the road and failed to cover in both. It has been getting production from freshman G Jackson Shelstad, who has eclipsed 20 points in the last 2 games. He'll be an x-factor and one of the reasons why Oregon is able to cover this spread that opened at -3.5.

Take OREGON -4.5 (-110).

Over/Under

Oregon is 5-5 O/U over the last 10, and Washington is 4-5 in the last 9. The Over is 3-6-1 in the last 10 meetings between the schools. This line opened at 153.5 and has gone up to 154.5. That's enough leverage for me to LEAN UNDER 154.5 (-110).
