Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers odds, picks and predictions
The Los Angeles Rams (9-7) and San Francisco 49ers (12-4) meet at Levi's Stadium Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Rams vs. 49ers odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.
The Rams come in having won 6 of their last 7 games, clinching a playoff berth with their win over the New York Giants last week, 26-25. That outright win did snap their 5-game streak of covering the spread, though, failing to cover as 6.5-point favorites over New York.
The 49ers locked up the No. 1 seed and 1st-round bye with their win over the Washington Commanders last week. They won that game, 27-10, covering the spread as 14-point favorites on the road. With the No. 1 seed clinched, the 49ers can afford to rest starters this week before the playoffs.

Rams at 49ers picks and predictions
Prediction
49ers 20, Rams 17
Moneyline
Both teams are playing their backups more than they ordinarily would, having very little to play for in Week 18. Stafford, Kupp, Williams, Purdy and McCaffrey have already been ruled out, meaning many of the top starters for both squads will be sidelined.
That makes this game difficult to predict because it's hard to know how much each team's starters will actually play. The 49ers (-200) seem more likely to play their starters for longer, knowing they have next week off anyway, but betting them on the ML isn't worth the risk. PASS on both sides.
Against the spread
The Rams played the 49ers close in Week 2, losing only 30-23 to a team that has steamrolled opponents all season. While they won't be at full strength in this one, WR Puka Nacua, WR Demarcus Robinson and most of their starting O-line should be expected to play at least part of the game.
In a matchup where no one truly knows how either team will treat the entirety of the game, take the points. BET RAMS +4 (-110).
Based on the situation, it seems like both teams would prefer to just get out of this game unscathed in advance of the playoffs. The 49ers have nothing to gain with a win, and while the Rams can lock up the No. 6 seed with a victory, they don't seem to be worried about a potential trip to Dallas as the No. 7 seed.
Expect a run-heavy attack from both sides as they attempt to make this game as short as possible. BET UNDER 41 (-110).
