Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders odds, picks and predictions

The Denver Broncos (8-8) and Las Vegas Raiders (7-9) meet Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Broncos vs. Raiders odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

This game is for pride because neither team can qualify for the postseason. The Broncos were eliminated despite beating the Los Angeles Chargers 16-9 in Week 17. They covered as 3.5-point favorites but really should have beaten a Chargers team without most of its best players by a bigger margin. QB Jarrett Stidham was 20-for-32 for 224 yards, 1 touchdown and no INTs.

The Raiders lost a close one 23-20 to the Indianapolis Colts last week. They scored 17 points in the 2nd half to cover as 3.5-point dogs. QB Aidan O'Connell was 30-for-47 for 299 yards, 2 TDs and no INTs. RB Zamir White rushed 20 times for 71 yards, and they will operate without star RB Josh Jacobs again in the season finale.

Broncos at Raiders picks and predictions

Prediction

Raiders 24, Broncos 21

Moneyline

Normally, the Raiders would be a little out of my range for a 7-9 club in the season finale. However, they're playing for interim coach Antonio Pierce's job status. The leaders on the team have expressed their support of him to be hired on full time, and they're going to try to seal the deal in this one.

Take the RAIDERS -160.

Against the spread

The Raiders are 9-5-2 ATS on the season and 5-2-1 at home. The Broncos are 6-9-1 ATS and 2-4-1 on the road.

I'm sticking to the ML, though, because we're projecting a push with little real incentive to lay the points, I feel like there's too much risk when we're already exposed a bit on the juicy ML.

PASS.

Over/Under

The Broncos are 7-9 O/U, and the Raiders are 5-11. Vegas took care of business in Denver back in Sept., 17-16, which would fall just short of this number. With so much at stake for their coach, I could see Vegas posting at least 24 to take a big chunk out of this number. Each team has cashed Overs in 2 of 3.

LEAN OVER 37 (-110).
