The Pacers are lapping the competition with wins in 8 of 9. They pushed as 8-point favorites in a 112-104 win over the Washington Wizards Wednesday. They did so without star PG Tyrese Haliburton, who will also miss this one with a strained hamstring.

The Hawks have been in a rut but delivered as 1-point favorites in a 139-132 victory over the Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers Wednesday. Despite that win, they have lost 7 of 10. G Trae Young has been dealing with a sore shoulder and is just 7-for-37 (18.9%) from the 3-point line in 4 January games.

Hawks 124, Pacers 120

Moneyline

The Hawks are far too inconsistent to ever consider at -225, and they're just 6-9 at home this year.

Instead, I'm looking at C Myles Turner. He has scored 20 just once in 6 games this month. Now, that was against the Hawks, but Haliburton driving and dishing will be absent from this one. It'll be harder for Turner to get buckets. Take MYLES TURNER UNDER 19.5 POINTS (-110).

Against the spread

I'm projecting Indiana to cover, but I'm not all that confident with Haliburton out.

Over/Under

The Pacers scored just 112 with Haliburton out in the last one and went well Under the 252.5 total. Atlanta scores the 4th-most points (122.7) per game at the 5th-highest pace (100.8), but I'm still highly skeptical this one touches 250. The books are, too, because the juice just went to the Under Friday morning.

Take the UNDER 252.5 (-115).
