Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook's lines around the Ohio State vs. Michigan odds, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and best bets.
Ohio State last played on Wednesday, failing to cover as a 2.5-point home favorite in a 71-60 loss vs. Wisconsin -- the Buckeyes' 2nd straight setback. They're 0-3 against the spread (ATS) and 1-2 straight up (SU) in their last 3 games.
Michigan has lost 5 straight games SU and 6 in a row ATS. The Wolverines last played Thursday, falling at Maryland 64-57 as +6 underdogs. Despite that final score, its been UM's shaky defense that has been the squad's biggest area of concern. Michigan went into the weekend yielding a Big Ten-worst 77.8 points per game.

Ohio State at Michigan picks and predictions
Prediction
Michigan 75, Ohio State 74
Moneyline
Michigan (+105) has played the better schedule by leaps and bounds. KenPom rates the Wolverines as 1 of the most unlucky 5s in NCAA-I so far, and UM's defensive efficiency numbers are somewhat tamped down by an offense lean to the talent the team has faced.
With the way UM hits the offensive glass and shoots from distance, the Wolverines could solidly be rated as a pick'em in this test at home. Especially against an OSU team that has not yet won a true road game (0-2) in what could be a sleepwalk afternoon time slot.
Watch the line here and bet Michigan if the tag reaches +120. Otherwise, PASS.
Against the spread
Ohio State is 7-17 ATS across its last 24 road games. This season, the Buckeyes are 2-7 ATS in games totaled in the 140s. Since 1997, UM has gone 24-8 ATS when closing as a pick'em or as a home underdog of 3 points or fewer.
Michigan is a top-40 team in filling the net from distance (37.4% on 3-pointers). Ohio State takes a lot of mid-range jumpers and is vulnerable to accuracy swings more than most teams.
TAKE THE WOLVERINES +1.5 (-108).

Over/Under
The O/U is 2-2 in the last 4 meetings, 3-3 in the last 6 and 5-5 across the last 10.
The pace here figures as nearly average -- likely a tad slow -- but the match-up will likely feature a decent percentage of triples and 2nd-chance points.
BetMGM Sportsbook has a more attractive number for Over bettors. The OVER 146.5 (-115) is perhaps worth some partial-unit action. A 144.5 would be more of a full-trigger number.
