2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds, picks and PGA Tour predictions

The next stop on the PGA Tour schedule brings many of the world's top players to the Monterey Peninsula for the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. It's the 2nd Signature Event of the season thus far, with a field of 80 players competing for a $3.6 million payday.

Below, we look at the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions.

While the field for this event has lacked star power in recent years, the biggest names will be teeing it up this week at Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. Rory McIlroy is the favorite at +800, followed by Scottie Scheffler (+850), Viktor Hovland (+1200) and Xander Schauffele (+1400). Justin Rose won this event last year, but he's a long shot this week with +6600 pre-tournament odds.

Unlike years past, the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will only have a 2-course rotation instead of 3 courses, eliminating Monterey Peninsula CC from the rotation with only 80 players in the field instead of 180. There will also be no cut, which is one of the major changes from past editions of the tournament. Pebble Beach is slightly shorter than Spyglass Hill, coming in at 6,972 yards compared to 7,041 yards for Spyglass. Both are par-72 courses.

Jordan Spieth (+1800)

Spieth is one of the big-name players who has this event on his schedule just about every year despite it not always having a strong field. That gives him an edge experience over many others, playing the Pebble Beach Pro-Am 11 times in his career. Amazingly, he's only finished outside the top 25 twice, which came last year and 2019. He finished in the top 10 every year from 2020-22, including a solo 2nd two years ago.

Max Homa (+1800)

Homa doesn't play this tournament every year but he's teed it up here several times in the past. He finished 10th in 2019, 14th in 2020 and 7th in 2021, which is an impressive track record for the California native. He should be very familiar with poa annua greens like Pebble's, which aren't always easy to putt on.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am picks – Contenders

Russell Henley (+4500)

Henley is best when playing a course that emphasizes accuracy and positioning over power, being a below-average driver in terms of distance. He bounced back from a rough showing at The Sentry by finishing 4th at the Sony Open, so he's already played well this season. The one concern with Henley this week is a lack of experience in this tournament, but he ranks among the world's best over the last 4 years on courses with small, poa greens.

Eric Cole (+6000)

Cole made his debut here last year and casually finished 15th, in part thanks to an opening-round 65 on Thursday. His odds are likely longer after missing the cut last week at the Farmers Insurance Open, but he already has 3 top-25s in 3 starts this season.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am picks – Long shot(s)

Adam Schenk (+10000)

Schenk just barely missed the cut at The American Express but he has 2 top-30 finishes this season, most recently coming in 25th last week at the Farmers. He's made the cut in 3 of his last 4 starts at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Tom Hoge (+10000)

Hoge was the 2022 champion, but that's not the only reason he's tempting at +10000. He finished 12th in 2021 and has made the cut in each of the last 4 years here, while also coming in 43rd in the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
