Wisconsin at Nebraska odds, picks and predictions
The No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers (16-4, 8-1 Big Ten) head to Pinnacle Bank Arena to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers (15-6, 5-5) Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET (Big Ten Network). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Wisconsin vs. Nebraska odds as we make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and best bets.
Wisconsin, which is No. 6 in the Paste BN Sports Coaches Poll, won its 3rd straight game on Friday night, 81-66 against the Michigan State Spartans. They covered the 2.5-point spread and the Over (136) hit. St. John's transfer AJ Storr carried the Badgers to victory with his game-high 28 points. The sophomore guard leads Wisconsin in scoring at 15.9 points per game. The Badgers lone conference loss came on the road at Penn State.
The Cornhuskers took a 73-51 beating on the road to the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday. They failed to cover the 5-point spread as the underdog and it went Under the 140.5 total. Not one of the Nebraska starters scored in double-figures as junior G C.J. Wilcher led them with 14 points off the bench. They committed 18 turnovers which led to 25 Terrapin points. Nebraska is 5-0 in conference play at home.
Wisconsin has won 8 of the last 10 matchups with Nebraska. The Badgers won 88-72 in their most recent meeting on Jan. 6. They covered the 5.5-point spread and the Over (144) hit.

Wisconsin at Nebraska picks and predictions
Prediction
Wisconsin 76, Nebraska 70
Moneyline
BET WISCONSIN (-118).
I'm confident that the Badgers will win this game on Friday night. They have won 4 of their last 5 times in Lincoln against the Cornhuskers. Wisconsin has also won 2 of their last 3 on the road in Big Ten play.
Wisconsin has a lot of size and physicality which will be troublesome for this Nebraska team. In their 1st game, the Cornhuskers were dominated in the paint, being outscored 36-18. They have struggled against other similar teams like Rutgers, Maryland and Iowa.
Against the spread
BET WISCONSIN -1.5 (-105).
For all the reasons I listed above, is why I like Wisconsin to cover this 1.5-point spread. They beat the Cornhuskers by 16 in their first matchup in Madison. It's a better value than the moneyline.

Over/Under
BET OVER 144.5 (-115).
The trends are hard to ignore on this one. Wisconsin has been Over the total in 6 of their last 8 while Nebraska has been Over in 9 of their last 10.
They scored 160 together in their 1st matchup on Jan 6. The two teams combined to hit 25 3-pointers in the game. It's hard to expect them to do that again, but they could get to 20 and still get over this total.
