The Heat are 4-1 straight up and ATS in their last 5. Their most recent game was a cover as 8-point home favorites in a 116-104 victory vs. the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday as the Under (228) cashed.

Moneyline

The Celtics (-230) have the best record in the East and will likely win Sunday, but I can't recommend risking $230 to win $100 when Butler's status is up in the air.

PASS. Bet the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

PASS on betting this spread until Butler's status is announced. If Butler is announced out, the market will probably overreact to the news and you should be able to get some value taking the points with the Heat. However, if Butler is announced in, I would look to bet the total instead.

Over/Under

The Over has hit in both meetings this season, and this total is set at a reasonable number. This line shouldn't move drastically if Butler is confirmed to play, and Miami is coming off back-to-back games scoring 116 or more points. Look for the Heat to continue scoring in bunches as G Terry Rozier, who was acquired from the Charlotte Hornets Jan. 23, gets more familiar with the offense.
