The Pelicans opened the 4-game road trip with a 117-106 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers, but they fell 139-122 Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. Now, New Orleans faces the quick turnaround after a flight up to Portland.

However, the Trail Blazers (+265) cannot be trusted, especially with Simons ruled out. He is the team's leading scorer, and the Blazers also suffered the double whammy this week when it lost Sharpe to a multi-week injury. He is the team's 3rd-leading scorer, so the Portland offense looks to be a bit toothless heading into this contest.
