Portland covered in the 1st 2 meetings this season, and the Over/Under (O/U) went 1-1. The most recent meeting was a 112-103 Nuggets home win Feb. 4 as the Under (220.5) cashed.

Against the spread

This game means a lot more to the Trail Blazers. Portland was embarrassed in back-to-back home games before the break and is 0-5 SU vs. Denver in the last 5 meetings.

Denver has been consistently overrated by the market this season and is just 23-31-2 ATS, the 5th-worst record in the league. The Nuggets are among the most talented teams in the NBA, but they're lacking urgency in the regular season. I wouldn't be surprised if they come out flat in this spot while looking ahead to their next game at Golden State.

Over/Under

The Under is 8-1 this season when Denver plays divisional opponents. Portland has allowed 121 or more points in back-to-back games, but it only allowed 112 to Denver in the Feb. 4 meeting.
