MIAMI -7.5 (-105) is a strong play to get the job done by at least 4 buckets in the Pacific Northwest.

Miami has been, pun intended, hot on the road trip, winning and covering each of the first 4 games. The Heat have been locked in, and all 4 victories have come as underdogs, too. The last time Miami didn't cover was 8 games ago, back on Feb. 4 in a 103-95 home loss to the LA Clippers -- Miami was a 5-point dog.

The Trail Blazers bottomed out with the double-digit loss to the lowly Hornets last time out, and they will be hard-pressed to keep it within single digits against the streaking Heat.

Over/Under

OVER 212.5 (-110) is a strong play with Miami doing most of the heavy lifting.

The Over cashed in Sacramento last time out for Miami, halting a 5-0 Under run, and 9-1 mark in the past 10 games. Miami has scored 116 or more points in 4 of the past 7 outings. It's the defense which is a concern for Over bettors, as Miami has limited the opposition to 110 or fewer points in 10 straight games.

The Blazers have scored 91 or fewer points in 3 of the past 5 outings, and it is unlikely to light it up against the Heat. Still, Miami should fill the bucket up enough to get this one across the finish line for an Over. Just be careful.
