Wisconsin at Indiana odds, picks and predictions
The Wisconsin Badgers(18-9, 10-6 Big 10) head to Assembly Hall to face the Indiana Hoosiers (14-13, 6-10) Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET (Peacock). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Wisconsin vs. Indiana odds as we make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and best bets.
Wisconsin won for just the 2nd time in its last 6 games Feb. 20 against the visiting Maryland Terrapins 74-70. The Badgers did not cover the spread as 7.5-point favorites and the Over (131.5) hit.
Four Badgers -- all starters -- cracked double-digits, led by F Tyler Wahl's 18 points -- he also had 6 rebounds. They beat the Terps soundly on the boards, outrebounding them 33-24. Wisconsin has struggled on the road, losing its last 4 and allowing 79.5 points per game over that stretch.
The Hoosiers dropped their 8th game in their last 10 Saturday in State College at the Penn State Nittany Lions 83-74. Indiana failed to cover the spread as a 2.5-point underdog with the Over (151) hitting. Indiana's leading scorer F Malik Reneau did his part, scoring a game-high 27 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. As a team, the Hoosiers shot just 13.3% (2 of 15) from long range which ultimately cost them the game.
Wisconsin beat Indiana in the 1st head-to-head meeting this season 91-79 in Madison Jan. 19. They actually pushed on the spread of 12 with the Over (139) hitting.

Wisconsin at Indiana picks and predictions
Prediction
Wisconsin 78, Indiana 72
Moneyline
PASS.
Wisconsin (-182) has faded as the season has progressed, but it is still a better team all around than Indiana (+150). I am confident the Badgers win this game but not enough to bet 1.82 times the potential return.
Against the spread
PASS.
As mentioned, I have the Badgers winning but I am not going to put money down on either of these teams on a downward trajectory. Wisconsin is 1-8-1 ATS in its last 10, while Indiana is 3-6-1 ATS in its last 10.
I want to feel confident in a bet before I make it and neither of these teams do that for me.

Over/Under
BET OVER 142.5 (-105).
Now, I do love the Over in this game. It's hard not too when Wisconsin and Indiana have combined to go Over the total in 14 of their last 20 games.
In the Jan. 19 contest, they totaled a whopping 170 points. I don't expect them to do that again, but they could easily get to 150, which puts them easily Over this total.
Indiana allows 75.2 points per game; Wisconsin allows 68.7 PPG. Those equal 143.9 and that makes you a winner on this bet.
