LA Clippers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and predictions

The LA Clippers (41-23) take on the Chicago Bulls (32-34) Thursday with tip-off from United Center set for 8 p.m. ET . Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Clippers vs. Bulls odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Clippers lead 1-0

The Clippers have lost 2 straight after a 118-100 setback against the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday. G Kawhi Leonard left after 12 minutes due to back spasms, and he's questionable for this one. F Paul George led the team with 22 points, but no one else had more than 12 behind him.

The Bulls are coming off a rollercoaster overtime win against the Indiana Pacers Wednesday night. F DeMar DeRozan went off for 46 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer in OT as Chicago won 132-129. The W snapped a 2-game losing streak, but the Bulls are actually 6-4 over their last 10.

Clippers at Bulls and predictions

Prediction

Clippers 110, Bulls 89

Moneyline

Obviously, Leonard's status holds a lot of weight here, but he has prop bets listed, which tells me he's on the promising side of questionable. I think the Clippers beat the brakes off the Bulls, who are on the end of a back-to-back and had to expend energy in overtime. Another huge factor for me is Sixth Man of the Year frontrunner G Coby White is out. So DeRozan will have to drop another 40-spot to keep them in it. He had 24 against Kawhi and PG13 in a 112-102 loss Saturday.

We can't drop -250 on the Clippers, though. Instead, I'm keying in on DEMAR DEROZAN OVER 4.5 REBOUNDS (-115). He had 9 last night and has 6+ boards in 4 of 5 games.

Against the spread

Again, depending on who suits up for the Clippers will dictate how confident I am in this, but I fully expect LA to cover. It has won the last 2 matchups by 10+ points, and I'm really fading Chicago here on a back-to-back without White.

Take the CLIPPERS -6.5 (-105).

Over/Under

The Clippers and Bulls are each 4-6 O/U over the last 10 games. We had 214 points in a matchup 5 days ago with healthier bodies in tow.

Not much to consider for me here -- take the UNDER 214.5 (-105).
