The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will meet in Super Bowl LIX Sunday, Feb. 9. Kickoff from Caesars Superdome in New Orleans is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Chiefs vs. Eagles odds from BetMGM Sportsbook's NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later.

The Chiefs held off the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game to earn a third consecutive trip to the Super Bowl. QB Patrick Mahomes finished with 245 passing yards (18 of 26), 43 rushing yards on 11 carries and 3 TDs (1 passing, 1 rushing), helping the Chiefs cover as 1-point home favorites with the Over (49) cashing. Kansas City is now a win away from becoming the first team to win 3 consecutive Super Bowls.

This is a rematch of Super Bowl LVII when the Chiefs posted a 38-35 win over QB Jalen Hurts and the Eagles in Glendale, Ariz., Feb. 12, 2023.

As for the NFC Championship Game, Philly routed the Washington Commanders 55-23, covering as a 6-point home favorite with the Over (47) hitting. Hurts threw for 246 yards (20 of 28) with a TD and ran for 16 yards and 3 TDs on 10 carries, while RB Saquon Barkley also had 3 rushing TDs among his 118 yards on 15 carries.

Kansas City is 4-2 all time in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs lost Super Bowl I to the Green Bay Packers 35-10 in Los Angeles Memorial Stadium Jan. 15, 1967. Their first Super Bowl title came 3 seasons later after a 23-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans Jan. 11, 1970.

Along with their win vs. the Eagles in 2023, they beat the San Francisco 49ers in LIV 31-20 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Feb. 2, 2020, lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9 in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Feb. 7, 2021, and beat the 49ers last season 25-22 in LVIII in Las Vegas.

Philadelphia is making its fifth trip to the Super Bowl. The Eagles are 1-3 in their previous 4 trips, winning its lone title in Super Bowl LII with a 41-33 victory against New England Patriots at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis Feb. 4, 2018.

The Eagles' first appearance was Super Bowl XV when it lost 27-10 to the Oakland Raiders in New Orleans (Louisiana Superdome) Jan. 25, 1981. They also lost in XXXIX to the Patriots 24-21 in Jacksonville, Fla., Feb. 6, 2005.

The Chiefs and Eagles last met in a regular-season game in Kansas City Nov. 20, 2023. The Eagles won 21-17 as 2.5-point underdogs with the Under (46) cashing.

In the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVII 38-35 victory, they were 1-point underdogs as the Over (51) easily cashed. Kansas City had 158 rushing yards and 182 passing yards, while posting a plus-1 turnover margin. Philadelphia had 115 rushing yards and 302 passing yards, with Hurts running for 3 scores and passing for another. Mahomes threw 3 TDs, while RB Isiah Pacheco ran for another score.
