Every Olympian needs a support team, and for Freestyle Skier, Jaelin Kauf, that team is led by her family. That's not surprising, as both her parents, Patti and Scott, were champion skiers on the professional mogul tour in the 80s and early 90s.

Watch the video to see how Jaelin Kauf's Olympic journey is a family affair.

Jaelin and her older brother, Skyler, grew up riding the slopes. But though Skyler had a head start, it was Jaelin who would find a way to reach the top of the mountain.

With her brother as her motivator and chief cheerleader, Jaelin's skiing career took off! In 2016, she was named "Rookie of the Year" on the World Cup tour. A year later, she was a bronze medalist in dual moguls at the World Championship, and in 2018, she finished 7th in moguls at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

She enters the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing with high hopes of making the podium for Team USA, her country, and perhaps most importantly of all, her ever-supportive family.
