'The Last of Us' star who dreams of making hockey history meets his hero

Keivonn Woodard has already made a name for himself as one of the stars of the hit HBO series, The Last of Us. But acting isn’t the only string to the 10-year-old’s bow, as Keivonn is hockey mad. So much so that he has his eyes set on eventually making history as the first deaf black player in the NHL.
Keivonn is already an accomplished hockey player with the Bowie Hockey Club in Maryland. His favorite pro team is the Washington Capitals. Recently, the Caps gave a $10,000 grant to Keivonn’s club, part of which will be used to provide an American Sign Language interpreter on the ice.
On a VIP trip to the Capitals’ facility, Keivonn was given some souvenirs, a behind-the-scenes look at the club, and some time on the ice. But the biggest surprise was in the locker room.
