This lifelong skateboarder has just turned 70 but says he 'just can't stop' shredding


Jimmy Gonzalez from Corpus Christi, Texas, can’t stop skateboarding.

He first nailed a pair of roller skates onto a plank of wood at the age of six. In the days before skate parks, Jimmy and his friends used empty swimming pools to practice shredding.

He continued skateboarding until 1985 when he decided he was too old. However, 15 years later, he decided to have another go and since then, he’s never looked back.

Now, having just turned 70, Jimmy intends be skateboarding for life.
