Teddy bears rained down in Hershey, Pennsylvania as the American Hockey League's Hershey Bears broke their own record for the team's most adorable tradition.
Fans threw 74,599 stuffed animals onto the ice after the Bears scored their first goal against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. This year's toss smashed the team's previous record of 67,309 set in 2023.

The annual Teddy Bear Toss has become a beloved Hershey tradition, as fans fill the rink with cuddly companions ready to fly when the net lights up. This year's record haul will spread joy to over 35 local charities through the club's Hershey Bears Cares program.
The Teddy Bear Toss has been a staple in the community since 2001, with a total of 464,107 teddy bears finding new homes.
